About Us
Founded in 1904, the Alliance Française de New Haven is a non-profit organization for people interested in all aspects of the culture and language of France and the Francophone World.
As a member of the Alliance Française de New Haven (AFNH), you will become a member of the largest network of French language and cultural centers in the world.
There are over 100 Alliance Française chapters in the United States and over 800 chapters world-wide based in 135 countries using French as their primary or secondary language. Members of the AFNH acquire language skills and develop cultural awareness, which are invaluable assets when traveling or doing business abroad.
